Our Values
Who We Are
Connect 4 OCD is a compassionate Canadian organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families navigating the challenges of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Founded by those with personal experience, we provide a community-focused, evidence-based platform that offers understanding, connection, and hope. Our mission is driven by the belief that no one should face OCD alone, and we are here to ensure accessible, accurate resources for Canadians seeking support.
We recognize that OCD is more than a mental health condition; it is a life-altering experience that affects individuals and families profoundly. While global resources exist, there remains a significant gap in Canada for empathetic, community-driven approaches to OCD support. Connect 4 OCD bridges this gap by offering tools and resources to help individuals and families reclaim their lives.
Our Story
Founded by Andre and Katia Brosseau after their own journey to find help for a family member struggling with OCD, Connect 4 OCD was established to create much-needed awareness about OCD and to promote better treatment options in Canada With a commitment to empowering families, we offer expert guidance, a wealth of resources, and a recommended network of professionals to ensure that no one faces OCD alone.
What began as a personal mission evolved into a nationwide movement to reshape OCD care in Canada. Andre and Katia’s efforts have built a platform that bridges families and experts, fosters a sense of community, and promotes evidence-based treatments. Through Connect 4 OCD, they are creating pathways to understanding, hope, and recovery for Canadians affected by OCD.

Commitment
At Connect 4 OCD, our mission is to ensure that no one affected by OCD suffers in silence. We strive to create a supportive community that offers help, healing, and hope to individuals and families navigating these challenges. OCD remains under-recognized in Canada, and many individuals face years of misdiagnosis or lack of treatment. Our dedication lies in raising awareness, advocating for timely access to care, and empowering those affected to seek help confidently.
We envision a future where OCD is widely recognized, understood, and treatable—free from stigma and misconceptions. Early diagnosis and access to evidence-based treatments will empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives. Our goal is to transform OCD care in Canada by promoting awareness, improving treatment options, and partnering with clinicians, researchers, and advocates. Together, we aspire to lead a national movement that ensures every person affected by OCD has access to the resources and support they need for a dignified life.
